RUBBISH PILE - PLAY & RATE

Here’s the result of my 6 week mini project for the simulated client brief.
Rubbish Pile! A short game that was produced to be used to support a public information campaign about recycling. It’s an alright play I guess…

Please leave your player feedback in the comments link below…

This is great and really quite hard. 1500 points on my first go. Sound would be cool maybe with the sound of what you are separating e.g. glass, paper, metal etc and also to let me know I have achieved something.
Graphics great and action on mouse good too as need to be accurate. This could be a popular learning tool for kids.

Had a quick go and very good attempt at the game :-) I think though it needs some more 'dynamic' game play, I found grabbing the recycling items with the laptop mouse difficult which led to some frustration.

Continue with the good work...

I really liked it. The idea was original, the difficulty increased at a reasonable rate, and the mechanics were pretty tight. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that clicking on the rubbish at any time restarts the game. Maybe just including that in the instructions would make it a tad less frustrating.

A few potential bugs: Sometimes some pieces of falling rubbish would just freeze in place while others kept falling; ocassionally the rubbish would be unresponsive the first time I clicked on it.

4/5, 8/10
Great job - keep it up!
