A SHORT FILM

"Ah, L'Amour" - by Don Hertzfeld.

'LOVE' is the translation of 'Ah, L'Amour' and for most guys (and GALS) I think that 'love' or harsh experiences with love, is defiantly a message that all viewers can relate too, especially in this short film.

As the films opening credits say... “A Bitter Film...” that boils down to money in the end.

The film and the way the story is told has a childish feel to it, which also blends in with the shaky guitar soundtrack and how it changes with the different moods throughout the film.

I love the noticeable fingerprints all over the camera lens and the distinct lack of 'perfectionist obsession'.

This film was produced in 1995, shot on 16mm film, it was one of the first films the artist (Don Hertzfeld) had made and was never intended to be screened publicly.

'Ah, L'Amour' became a wildly popular cult film and In 1998, the film received the HBO Comedy Arts Festival Grand Prize Award for the - "World's Funniest Cartoon."

NOTE** CLICK THE BLANK SPACE BELOW, I'll fix it soon, thanks.
